A dealing broker quotes you a price and is itself your counterparty. When you buy, it sells to you from its own book.
That is the difference from the non-dealing licence, and it is worth understanding rather than assuming it is sinister: a dealing broker can fill you instantly because it does not have to find anyone else. It also means your loss is its gain on that trade, so how it manages that conflict is a fair question to ask.
